‘The Endless River’ va fi ultimul album PINK FLOYD

Festivalurile Woodstock
Woodstock 1969
Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, the Who, Janis Joplin and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young au figurat in program.

A fost vestit pentru celebra frază: "I just want to hear something I haven"t heard before."

What the “Metronom” shows actually were

...a genuine music school for the Romanians on short waves, they stood for the voice of liberty for a whole generation before December 1989. A show broadcasted by Radio Free Europe, a station banned in those days by the communist authorities.
Each day, Cornel Chiriac and later Radu Theodor were presenting a complete album, describing the tracks, picturing the album"s cover and offering many other information the listeners were lapping up having the feeling of a stolen freedom.

Cornel Chiriac was a Romanian journalist, radio show and music band producer, publicist and jazz drummer. He attended highschool in Pitesti and graduated the Pedagogical Institute in the same town in 1966.
As far back as his teenage years he showed a passion for jazz, collecting all the information available about artists from this genre and listening to music where he had the chance. He was copying books, cronics, interviews and news from trade magazines on his notebooks and he separately translated them into Romanian” “During highschool he filled his time exclusively with music. He spent his nights writing. In the morning he woke hardly woke up to go to school, his aunt recollects. Some of his notebooks got in possession of great Romanian musicians like Radu Maltopol, Cristian Colan or Johnny Răducanu, being the only source of information in the field of jazz at the time.
